The Catholic View on Immigration Reform and What You Can Do

During these days of Advent when we remember Joseph and Mary’s journey as migrants, the topic of immigration becomes especially relevant.

The US Bishops have launched a website on immigration reform called Justice for Immigrants.  The site offers facts and figures, a photo essay, a video contest, information on immigration issues, and resources for individuals, for parishes, for media, for policymakers and for immigrants.  Suggestions of ways you can help in this complex issue are included.

Take a moment this Advent season and learn more about immigration policy reform.  Today’s migrants are as important and as worthy of human dignity as were migrants 2,000 years ago.
